Tyre Size
What is the size of my vehicles tyres?
To determine the size of your vehicles tyre, you can start by taking a look at the sidewall of the tyre. The size is usually displayed in a sequence of numbers and letters.
- The first number represents the tyre width in millimeters.
- Followed by the aspect ratio, which is the height of the tyre sidewall as a percentage of its width.
- Next, the letter and number tell us the diameter of the tyre and wheel in inches.
- Then finally there will be another letter and number and this is for the load index and speed rating of the tyre for your vehicle.

You can also refer to the vehicle’s owner’s manual for the recommended tyre size for your specific model. In some cases, the tyre size may also be listed in the driver’s side door jamb or inside the fuel cap door.
Knowing the size of your vehicles tyres will help you choose the most suitable replacement and ensure proper performance and safety on the road.
